All About Us
Paws for Thought
Why choose us? If your dog is boarding or with us for day care they will be cared for within a lovely home environment which has been registered with Hart District Council for boarding and day care. If your dogs are walking with us, they will be walked in the Fleet and Farnham areas, where there are some lovely woodland walks full of all the wonderful sniffs!
Qualifications: Accredited dog first aid and emergency canine care, Full DBS check, level 2 in Canine Care and Welfare, level 3 in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare, we also volunteer with the Cinnamon trust. We are fully insured.
We will collect your pups in one of our specially designed hound mobiles which are fully ventilated and fitted with safe crates for the comfort and wellbeing of our pack, before whisking them off for some stimulating fun and adventure.
Many of us think of our pets as part of the family and finding the right person to help take care of your pets is a difficult task, as life long dog owners here at CJ Happy Hounds the happiness and wellbeing of your best friend is our number 1 priority.

Solo Dog Walking

Responsible & Reliable £20
Not all dogs like to be walked with other dogs therefore we offer solo dog walks of up to 30 minutes.
Group Dog Walking
Collection and drop off included £17.00 per a dog
Group dog walks last for around 1 hour plus a little bit of travelling time. Group dog walks are a great way for your dog to have a fun and interactive experience with other dogs.
On wet and muddy days your dog will be towel dried before being returned home. all dogs will be walked on the lead unless we have your written permission to walk them off lead.
Weekend / Bank Holiday Dog Walking
Collection and drop off included £20
Don’t feel guilty about leaving your pet alone. Our Weekend / Bank Holiday Dog Walking service gives your pet maximum care, even when you can’t be there. (See Group Dog Walking) for details.
Dog Home Boarding
Limited spaces for 2024
A home away from home £36 per day (departure day not charged if dog collected before 8am)
We can take care of your dog in our home and treat them like one of the family, where they will be surrounded with love and have plenty of fun with other dogs. Leaving you to have a worry free holiday or business trip.
You will receive daily messages via your preferred method while your are away.
If your dog is not already in our day care at least 1 overnight trial run is required before your trip. This trial stay will help give you peace of mind and will ensure that your dog is completely comfortable . in our home environment.
Dog Day Care
Collection and drop off included £30 Monday - Friday. Weekends available on request.
Half day options available.
I am fully licenced through Hart District Council and have my home inspected annually by the council. All dogs will get 2 walks per day as well as lots of love and fun in between.
Pick up will be between 8am -9am and drop off between 5pm - 6pm.
Half day options £25
Morning day care we will collect your dog before 9am and drop back around 1.30pm
Afternoon day care we will collect your dog before 2pm and drop back around 6pm.

Chris at CJ Hounds is the most wonderful caring professional dog walker and dog sitter I have come across in a very longtime! He has a wonderful safe homely environment for your pooches. This was important for me with my rescue, as it was the first time I was introducing our separation since covid, but it was done slowly as training as I wanted Chris to bond with him but also make sure his training is still kept in line!
